January is School Board Appreciation Month! We are so appreciative for our school board members who volunteer their time and service to the students and staff of PCSSD. Stay tuned, we'll highlight each member individually throughout the month. #pcssdproud #equityandexcellence

Happy New Year!

Have a happy and safe New Year's Eve!

Teachers and staff members participated in our AVID Door Decorating Contest recently. The purpose of this contest is to have students be able to practice their research skills, be able to work in small groups, and expose students to the many possibilities after high school. The winner will be announced when we come back from the Winter Break! The work is quite impressive! Go Stingers!

During center work, MAUMELLE MIDDLE students worked with discount sales tax simple interest. Ms. Vilches bought board games for centers. Students used the board games to work on current standards. #pcssdproud #equityandexcellence

7th grade math students at MAUMELLE MIDDLE determined the slope and y-intercepts from linear equations and graphed their lines. Students then colored the graphs to replicate stained glass artwork. #pcssdproud #equityandexcellence

Happy Kwanzaa!
