Willie Roaf is a Pro Football Hall of Fame offensive lineman. He played for New Orleans Saints and KC Chiefs before retiring and was selected to the Pro Bowl 11 times. He was inducted into Arkansas Black Hall of Fame in 2013.

Mother Nature surprised residents in Arkansas with nearly two feet of snow across the state! Students in Pulaski County Special School District enjoyed a week of "winter-based" instructional activities in order to take advantage of these rare snow days.

Lt. Col. Woodrow W. Crockett was a combat pilot in World War II & Korean War. His WWII flight suit is at the National Museum of African American History & Culture in DC. He was inducted into Arkansas Black Hall of Fame in 2012.
